Jesus Garibay

Jesus is a San Diego native, and his family hails from Ensenada, Baja California. He has spent over a decade in the restaurant industry, including two years here at en Rama.

In his own words:" I love the fast paced, creative world of food and hospitality. When I'm not in the kitchen, you can find me fueling my culinary obsession with kitchen shows and books, running miles in the gym or trails, and cheering for my favorite sports teams. At home I am blessed with an amazing wife and our energetic 3 year old son, who keep me grounded and inspired."

Our Story

Meet the Owners

Together we share more than 50 years of combined restaurant experience. We have spent time in all areas of the front of the house, in places ranging from neighborhood bars to fine dining restaurants. Wine is a passion we both share, and we enjoy traveling to vineyards and meeting winemakers to deepen our knowledge.

Moving to Tacoma in 2018 was one of the best decisions we've ever made. Our son was born here in 2019 and we love the community. We hope to support and uplift our neighbors in every way possible.
